29 Maoists killed in Chhattisgarh, India





New Delhi. The police claimed that 29 Maoists were killed in the encounter in Kanker of Maoist-affected Chhattisgarh. Three security personnel were also injured in this encounter.

Earlier, the police had claimed that 18 Maoists had been killed. According to the police, there was an encounter with suspected Maoists in Chotabetiya area of ​​Kanker on Tuesday afternoon.


India is going to vote for the Lok Sabha on April 19 in Bastar. This incident of encounter happened at the time when the Maoists were appealing to boycott the election.

After the encounter in Chhotabetiya area of ​​Kanker on Tuesday afternoon, the bodies of 29 Maoists were recovered from the encounter site, police said.
